How is Afloat different from a budgeting app?

Afloat is the opposite of a budgeting app. No bank login, no expense categories, no spreadsheet to maintain — just one forward-looking number that shows how many months you're covered, built for income that isn't steady.

Do you connect to my bank?

No. You log income yourself, which keeps Afloat completely private and free of bank connections.

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone. Nothing is collected or sent to a server. If you turn on iCloud sync, it syncs privately through your own iCloud account. See our Privacy Policy.

How much does Afloat cost?

Afloat is a paid app with a 7-day free trial, then a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime unlock. You can manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

How do I restore a purchase?

On the paywall, tap Restore. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so they carry across your devices.

Is there an Android version?

Afloat is iPhone-only for now.
